Congrats on your play! I hope I can see it some day and that you are able to get the funding to take it to the next level. Would it also make a good film? If so, I can introduce you to friends who work in film? I can ask them to check out the reviews to see if it would be up their alley. I think it's a challenge for most of us in the arts. We want to produce good work, we want to get paid - but the odds are against us. Congrats on sticking to your ethics and ideals in the process.

Someone I know went to see your play last week and I look forward to asking her about it next time I see her!

That would be absolutely marvellous. One of the reviewers said she thought it would make a good radio play (in part because of the limits of my direction!) but I think there's definite transferability (though I would say that wouldn't I!). Do put them in touch - I'm emma@politicalhuman.com

May I recommend approaching the Kiln Theatre, London? That is a theatre that would be very receptive to this material, I believe. They recently presented 'Handbagged', which was amazing.

Hi Emma I went to see your play on its first run and loved it. Are you another James Graham maybe! It's awful that you got not a penny out of it, even with sold out houses.

It worries me that so much if the theatre world is so 'woke' which prevents more thoughtful criticism of our political institutions.

I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions as to how how to get this terrific play to be more widely seen except to suggest taking it to the Edinburgh fringe, which certainly wouldn't make you any money.

Hoping that other readers of this blog might.

Thank you so much for coming and I am so glad you enjoyed it. Audiences are really what it's all about!
