Sorry - my computer just closed itself down and now I might throw it across the room.

So folks, here’s a little glimpse behind the magic here at Burnell Towers.

I am fully aware that I am not always the best editor of my own work - and that is more true when I type straight onto Substack. So I thought I would type this week’s newsletter in Word and paste it in here.

Then my computer restarted itself and I lost 600+ words.

And now I want to scream - a lot. But instead, I am going to shut the laptop, have a cigarette, and try to recreate the piece over the next couple of VERY BUSY days.
